Flipping Kayak Back Over Safety Drill For Old Town Topwater 120 PDL

Beginner learning how to flip the Topwater 120 PDL kayak ( http://bit.ly/tw120pdl_rad_reel ) upright and get back in. Along with this challenge I also took time to see how stable this Old Town vessel is. This is my first safety drill without fishing gear loaded in the vessel designed to teach me how to get back into a kayak when it tips over.

I do plan on trying this exercise again, but with all of the fishing gear loaded in the kayak. I'm sure that when fishing poles, tackle boxes, a milk crate and whatever else is loaded in the vessel flipping it back over and climbing in will be more difficult than this first drill.

Although this first try at getting back into the kayak after it flipped was a bit challenging, I do feel very confident in the method that I've developed so far.
